Step 1: Login

Go to Extract Website at https://pdf.kurtosys.org and login with your username and password (this is a temporary parking place for Extract and it will eventually move to a canopy.cloud domain)

Step 2: Select Single Upload

The main dashboard will show you previous files that you have processed. If required you can also download the previously extracted Excel files and the corresponding logs etc.

If you are only uploading a single file, select the ‘Single Upload’ option.

Step 3: Load PDF and Excel Config File

Locate the appropriate Excel Config File from the Excel Config File Directory. Figure out the tab in the Excel Config File that matches your table the closest.

The Bank Name and Subtype are in the tab name in the Excel Config File (see screenshot below)

Finding the Bank Name

The bank name are the letters until the first underscore. For example

• If the tab name is ubs_sirconfig1 then the Bank Name is ubs
• If the tab name is ubs_scaconfig_spanish1 then the Bank Name is ubs

Finding the Subtype

The subtype is everything after the first underscore. For example
